It’s Friday people, woop woop! I’m sure it’s been a hectic week. What better way to round off the week than with the king of all goodies – small chops. There are very few people who can truly profess not to be moved by small chops. If you’ve ever been to a wedding in Lagos, you’ll admit that many of us are out there for the champagne and small chops first, and then to support the happy couple second. Let’s not lie or get our priorities twisted…

I got given this pack of small chops and I have to say, it made my day. I have a permanent craving for small chops which only gets satisfied at weddings and owambes because companies like Tantalisers and Sweet Sensation keep refusing to hear my prayers. Why they don’t sell individual take away packs of small chops is beyond me – I would totally cruise through on the daily and pick up a pack or two. So you can understand why this little gift made me smile. It came with puff puff, mosa, barbecued chicken, peppered snails and spring rolls; and it was nicely packaged in an individual foil take away container. I know who I’m going to be calling now, when my cravings arrive.  As it happens, someone else had got me a bottle of palm wine from Ikoyi Club, so I put the two together, and had a wonderful little snack.

But please tell me, do you like small chops too? Have you tried the 12 Basket ones and what did you think? Is there anywhere I can order small quantities of small chops for personal consumption? If you have a down low small chops supplier and are refusing to share this information with me, all I will say is this – God is watching you!
